Taha Ahmed
Founder of TA Advisory. Fractional CFO for startup CEOs. Fifteen years across Goldman Sachs, Forbes, and venture-backed startups before that.
I am a Goldman Sachs and Forbes veteran. Over the past 15 years I have worked across M&A and principal investing, scaled venture-backed startups, and built and run FP&A: $2B+ in LP commitments evaluated and deployed, $1B+ in M&A and investments executed, and $400M+ in equity and debt financing. I have sat on the investor side of the table for over a decade, which means I know exactly what boards and acquirers look for in your numbers.
Now I work 1-on-1 with founders as a fractional CFO. The job is the same one I did at scale, sized for a startup: install operating discipline early, build reporting the board trusts, and put the finance architecture in place that the next round gets underwritten on.
I am based in Houston, TX and work with founders across the US, mostly remote, on-site when it matters.
